Gigawatt Design wins a second silver award, this time from the W3 Awards, for their concept and design of The Periodic Label, a pseudo-scientific music collective.

The Periodic Label is a labor of love run by myself, my wife and two close friends, and it felt great to get some positive feedback on the design. Being a one-man operation, sometimes it’s tough to tell if your work appeals to anyone but you. And that problem is compounded exponentially when I’m both designer and client. For this site, I just tried to get out of my own way, and really pare it down to only what was necessary.
