This site was hand-coded using BBEdit on a Mac to comply with Web Standards via semantic, valid XHTML. It uses CSS for layout, and degrades gracefully, so all the content will appear in a logical order even if using a browser that does not support CSS. I take accessibility seriously, and tried to take all users into account when building this site; however, I readily admit that I still have more to learn, so if you are having any trouble viewing any section, please let me know.

Gigawattdesign.com is powered by Expression Engine, the mother of all content management systems (at least for those of us that are programming-deficient).

Many aspects of the site are based on The Golden Ratio. For instance, the ratio of the width of the main content column to the sidebar(s) is 1.618:1 (or at least as close as I could get using pixels). I figure 2,400 years of artists, architects and mathematicians can't be wrong.

The title in the header and the tagline are set in Scala Sans.
